On November 13, 2020, Deputy Governor Chen Yulu of the People's Bank of China attended the Extraordinary G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Virtual Meeting. The meeting endorsed the Common Framework for Debt Treatments beyond the Debt Service Suspension Initiative, to support low-income countries as they address challenges associated with Covid-19. A statement was issued following the meeting.
